Frank Dyutsener Biography

Rogachenko “Traveling to Russian winery is a good idea. Especially now, ”says our heroine in any country with winery, you can get into the car and, following the wind, go on a beautiful journey from one wine house to another. Wine tourism has long been loved by Russians, and more and more often we hear stories about Burgundy, Bordeaux or Barolo. This strange year has changed our habits and routes, which I am even glad, because finally we were able to find out something about our country!

The idea of traveling through Russian winery was born last year. At the end of September, it became a reality. After two hours, the morning flight of Aeroflot delivered me to the edge, in which I was Anapa, I met Anapa with a hot sun and wind, a smelling sea. And half an hour after landing, the helicopter carried me and my companions into the blue sky, opening the sea, rocks, oysters and, of course, vineyards.

DR "Chateau de Talya" is founded in the year. The concept of winery is the production of elegant wines with an individual character, landing on the Shato de Talya helicopter, I thought that I was in France. The gaze appeared a magnificent castle surrounded by vineyards. Frank Dyusener, a French winemaker from Bordeaux, now working at Chateau de Talya, proudly showed modern production and talked about how grapes turn into a drink of the gods.

There was a smell in the halls, which was already intoxicated! The concept of winery is the production of elegant wines with an individual character. Located on the high bank of the fat cape. The lock itself is still being completed. I think we were one of the first to get and see this pearl by the sea and taste the created miracles. A rich imagination already painted tempting pictures, and for some reason I wanted to be here on a warm evening, it was necessary in a beautiful dress, and enjoy a sunset with a sparkling glass ...

inspired and slightly intoxicated, we went to Gelendzhik for dinner from the young cook Pavel Kravchyk-the chef of the Fuzhn restaurant of the Kempinsky hotel. Dinner was covered on the hotel terrace with an amazing view of the bay. The author’s set of six dishes was accompanied by an equally interesting set of local wines. From the personal archive of T. Rogachenko, the traditions of winemaking in Taman appeared in the II century BC.

The next day we went to Fanagoria. The Taman Peninsula, where many of the Russian farms are located, can rightfully be called a wine peninsula. The traditions of winemaking in Taman appeared in the 2nd century BC. According to legend, one of the first to plant the vine here was the winemaker and healer Fanagore. The usual grape juices, presented in the full assortment in the museum of the house, helped her to preserve the plantations.

Today, wine, cognacs and sparkling are created and mature here. And there are also amazing people, whose experience is calculated by life, since Fanagoria has long become their second home. Actually, the visit itself began with the collection of grapes. We were given gloves, scissors and planted in the vineyard. An hour later, the mission was executed and continued in a new format, but already in the clearing, where we were waiting for the bottles of sparkling, glasses and ...

a barrel for those who wanted to repeat the famous dance in the barrel of Adriano Celentano from the film “The Taming of the Party”. DR “Fanagoria” is one of the oldest wine farms, leads a story inspired by the one who was seen and the tasteful, we went to production, shocked by its scale, and then to the tasting hall, where we were met by Valentina Grigoryevna Popandopulo - Deputy General Director for Quality, a real legend of this region.

It is she who controls the quality of 30 million bottles annually, is actively involved in the promotion of Russian wines and is known for bringing Vladimir Putin to the stand of Fanagoria during one of the exhibitions of the Kuban gifts, asking for Russian wines to taste. It will be great health benefits! And is it possible to argue with this, especially when local cheeses and incredibly delicious grapes are served to blame?

After a tasting, we were invited to dinner. The main dish was a hut with pink Kuban tomatoes. And life began at one point to seem even more beautiful. And I wanted to shout “Stop, a moment! You are great! But we were waiting for the village of Golubitskaya, located on a picturesque piece of land between the coast of the Sea of Azov and the freshwater Akhtanizovsky estuary. The village received its name on behalf of the Cossack Grigory Golubitsky, which founded a farm on the shores of the Sea of Azov.

Once on the site of Golubitsky was the city of Rossia, or Rosia, which arose in the 19th century, which was destroyed by the hordes of Genghis Khan. The Golubitskoye Estate Winery is an ultra -modern economy that affects its architecture and design. The winery building was made in a modern style - from glass and Italian limestone, with an open area on the roof, from which a panoramic view of the Taman Peninsula opens.DR Winery “Golubitskoye estate” - an ultra -modern farm that affects its architecture and design under the building, the basements of KV are equipped.

Here will be an excerpt of quiet wines, strap and fermentation of sparkling wines, which are created in the "Golubitskoye estate" exclusively with a classic method of champagne and withstand at least nine months on the precipitation. There are also bottles from the Caucasian oak rock for aging quiet wines. The tunnels are equipped with Kazakhs for collectible exposure of wine bottles.

Today, the collection of quiet wines “Golubitskoye estate” has 11 mono -otters of quiet wines with a protected geographical instruction “Kuban. Taman Peninsula. " This year, a residence for contemporary artists was opened here and began the work of the Golubitskoye Art Fund - a new project of the Zarya Contemporary Art Center from Vladivostok. The fund was created on the initiative of the philanthropist and collector Alexander Mechetin, and the first resident of the fund was the artist Alice Joff, whose exhibition was lucky enough for us to visit.

Frank Dyutsener Biography

The visit ended on the roof in the light of the outgoing sun and a tasting of local wines. Leaving the winery in a dark, we looked at the illuminated facade and promised to return to him. The third day. The mini-automatic one drove us along scorched roads to Gai-Kodzor. I was in anticipation of a miracle: the winery in the village of Gai-Kodzer is located between Anapa and Novorossiysk-in the very sunny point of Russia.

Thanks to the architects of Kleinewelt Architekten, a light translucent structure appeared here, which poured into the landscape and absorbing the sun's rays. A simple rectangular object rises above the Anapa valley. Huge windows and elements made of Cortenic steel, facial concrete and finishing. The winery is similar to a space object built by aliens. In the center of the structure is an internal kindergarten, in the middle of which a Canadian oak rises, which has become a symbol of the economy.

And looking at him, suddenly I wanted to return here in November to see it bright red. We were met by one of the owners of the winery - the charismatic Eduard Alexandrov. In fact, on Saturdays there are no visits, but for us an exception was made, which we, of course, were very happy. Eduard was strict at the beginning, looked at us evaluating from head to toe and lamented us on “gulls from Egypt” - as he calls tourists coming here for the “location” for photographs.

Lavender was trampled, grass too ... not people, but barbarians! A sparkling river, the sun, beautiful views ... What else is needed for happiness? Why are we always trying to look for him somewhere far at the time when it is here and now in this fertile land, giving us the beauty and drink of the gods?! The history of the economy originates in the year. Then Eduard with the famous French winemakers Aleng Duga and Noel Worked that it was here that they would grow vineyards and produce first of all white wines-Vione, Rusan, Gevürtstraminer, muscat-and a rare rose ...

"We create comfortable wines that you can drink at dinner with fried potatoes and cucumbers or foisa-grades," notes Edward. He proudly shows us GAI - equipment that, like an ideal wife, does everything and does quietly, from a roser to a sticker of labels. DR Vinelic appeal of the “Lepcadia Valley” is located on the picturesque slopes in the foothills of the Caucasian ridge, the Win tasting in the gazebo, blown by the local mistral, completes our excursion.

And we continue our path - we are waiting for the "Valley of Lefkadia." The winery appeal to the "Lepcadia Valley" is located in the Crimean district of the Krasnodar Territory on the picturesque slopes in the foothills of the Caucasian Range. A moderately continental climate, a variety of well -drained soils and the required amount of sunny days a year - all this creates excellent conditions for growing grapes and the production of excellent wines.

In the village of Moldovansky - next to which the farm is located - grapes are grown for more than years. The berries were processed in wine at the Sauk-Dere factory, built in the year. This continued until the end of the last century, when during the “dry law” all the vineyards were destroyed. The economy belongs to Mikhail Nikolaev and his sons. The Russian businessman bought a territory about ha per year and decided to make the best Russian wine from scratch.

He planted vineyards and began the new history of the economy, known today under the name “Lepcadia Valley”, which translates from Greek as “the valley of white poplars”. DR plant "Sauk-Dere" was built in the year by Stefania-the wife of Nikolai, the middle son, who, having received education in the best schools and universities in England, returned here and continues the case of his father.

The visit began with lunch, which, honestly, we were looking forward to in advance. The menu of the restaurant of the winery pleasantly surprised. Baked kamamber, local cheeses, saddle lamb and many vegetables. Cheeses from his cheese man. Milk for cheeses - from local goats and sheep of milk rocks grazing nearby. And, of course, lunch accompanies the wine set, perfectly selected by the restaurant sommelier. But before we sat down at the table, we were offered to try sabers again.

Could we refuse, moreover, this time I managed to open the bottle with a sword the first time! After lunch - a tour of the winery, the size of which and the enormous plans are amazed. Terruar valley is a 21 variety of grapes, several types of soils and solar days a year. And I am already planning a “lavender tour” in early June, in order to enjoy lavender fields, become a participant in a photo shoot, learn to weave lavender wreaths and make lavender lemonade.

And I already want to wake up in one of the houses of the Healthy Dream project, consisting of houses where ideal conditions for perfect sleep with the help of bees will be created.
