I recall about the audience already at the stage of working with sound, since I often want to do it or go into experiments, but the main segment of my listeners is not ready for this, so I am looking for compromises and moving in this direction in small steps.

Music is my way to be yourself. I think it would be strange in her to focus on someone else. Does it reflect your everyday reality? Can you tell your own examples that have entailed any consequences? What songs were born the very first, but which, perhaps, did not "see the light"? You can tell you what they were connected with: your own philosophical vision of the world, or maybe, as often happens, with the first love? You, in general, happen that you write songs, as they say, “in the table”, even if, even before the best of times? The very first written song was very abstract and about loneliness.

There were some metaphors about the ocean, whales and it was bad. Then, almost immediately, the material for the first album began to be written, although some completely naive songs that were outlined in the process were born. I usually remove something that over time seems to me stupidity or banal. Now, by the way, also. Only the percentage increased. Most of the written remains to live in notes.

As for the moment from “to the best of times”, my big pain is songs affecting politics. I have three that I do not just release from desire to continue to play concerts in Russia calmly. There is nothing radical in them, but the experience of colleagues shows that even such material can create problems. I really want to have freedom of speech and creativity in our country, but now they are only on pieces of paper.
