But, unfortunately, this is not the end of the epidemic. I recently visited a meeting in St. Petersburg, which discussed the fight against the spread of high -toe -iron flu. It was attended by the Director of the National Center for the World Health Organization in St. Petersburg, the corresponding member of the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences Professor Oleg Kiselev, who emphasized that the second wave of the surge of the disease arises later and, according to his forecasts, will hook a larger number of Russians.

This happened in Mexico, which joined the epidemic this spring. In October, in this country, significantly more cases of incidence of influenza were registered. The same professor Kiselev noted that the current flu has certain features: not so much clinical as in the severity of the course of the disease. Do not let the children go to school at the first signs of the disease. In the Center for Disaster Medicine, a fairly serious reserve of medical staff protection, and a reserve of drugs were created. Most medical institutions also responded to our calls. I will not say that everything went easy. Many had to be hard to convince of the need for urgent preventive measures. And in the end, life confirmed the correctness of our forecasts and actions.

For example, it was correct to allocate special places in the hospitals of Murmansk and Kirovsk, where the sick were then headed: separately patients with viral infections, separately with pneumonia.I had to deploy an additional bed fund in apatitis, in the Kola district a specialized department for pregnant women was opened. In the hospital, "Sevryba" of the diseased flu took the department of pulmonology.

All these measures have demonstrated their effectiveness: with a large number of hospitalized patients, no failures were noted in the provision of drugs, disinfectants in hospitals. Young specialists who took the boarding school in hospitals were transferred to clinics for the period of the epidemic to assist colleagues.

I also note that in the case of the further spread of the epidemic, the supply of drugs in hospitals is sufficient, which can not be said about the pharmacy network in which the situation is more complicated. We can positively evaluate the work to control the prices of drugs carried out in the region, which in the region have grown slightly, and a decrease in the retail price has been recorded for some drugs.
