The writer was buried in Sverdlovsk at the Ivanovo cemetery.

In his hometown of the writer, in the house where he lived, a museum is open. The name of the writer is the People’s Festival in the Chelyabinsk Region, the annual prize awarded in Yekaterinburg. Pavel Bazhov established memorable monuments in Sverdlovsk, Polevsky and other cities. Also in the name of the writer are the streets in many cities of the former USSR.
